Certain conditions and circumstances make this treatment unsuitable, including:

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding.

When considering any injectable treatment, please keep in mind:

1. If you have a skin infection in or near the treatment area, or if you are feeling unwell in any way (including having a cold), treatment is not recommended.

3. If you have recently completed a course of roacutane (acne treatment) within the past 18 months, treatment is not recommended.
4. If you have upcoming special events where the presence of a bruise would be unacceptable to you, please inform your clinician in advance.
5. Certain over-the-counter medicines, supplements, and alcohol can increase the risk of bruising and should be avoided before and after treatment.
6. Avoid vigorous exercise, sun exposure, sunbeds, and saunas for 48 hours following treatment or as advised by your clinician.
7. If you experience unexpected symptoms or are dissatisfied with the outcome, please contact your practitioner for guidance. If necessary, an appointment will be arranged for you.

You can discuss this during your appointment, depending on how many areas you wish to treat. To maintain the best effects, re-treatment is advised every three to four months.
