Deep Tissue Massage

 Unlike a relaxation or Swedish massage, deep tissue uses firmer pressure and slower strokes to target knots and tension in deeper muscle layers. 

 You may feel some pressure or slight discomfort during certain parts of the massage, especially when targeting tight areas, but it should not be unbearable. Please inform your therapist if the pressure is too much. 

 Typically, sessions last between 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated and your individual needs. 

 Deep tissue massage can relieve chronic muscle pain, improve circulation, reduce stress, enhance mobility, and support recovery from exercise or injury. 

 It depends on your goals. Some clients feel relief after just one session, while others with ongoing tension or stiffness may benefit from regular treatments. 

 There is no downtime. You may experience mild soreness for a day or two after treatment, similar to post-exercise muscle ache, which usually subsides quickly. 

 This treatment is not recommended for clients with certain conditions such as recent surgery, open wounds, fractures, severe osteoporosis, or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Please inform your therapist of any health concerns before your appointment. 

 Wear comfortable clothing, stay hydrated, and avoid heavy meals before your treatment. Drinking water after your massage also helps flush out toxins released during the session. 

 Yes, many clients choose to combine deep tissue massage with relaxation therapies or facials to enhance overall wellbeing.
